Beijing , China , June 2, 2009 – Today, CS2C announced support of Moblin, an optimized open source Linux software stack and application framework, by committing to the development of a product based on the recently released Moblin v2 for Intel® Atom™ processor-based platforms. Moblin v2 provides the structure for CS2C to incorporate robust Internet and media capabilities into its consumer Linux offerings - NeoShine Linux Desktop Lite.
Moblin v2 , which is currently available for netbooks as a beta, is the latest from Moblin.org, an open source community that supports the creation and distribution of Linux-based operating system products for Intel Atom-based platforms, including netbooks, mobile Internet devices (MIDs), nettops, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and embedded systems. One of the key new features of Moblin v2 is an easy-to-use and intuitive user interface that was built for advanced Internet, media and social networking experiences.
Utilizing the advanced capabilities of Moblin v2 will bring the following benefits to the NeoShine Linux Desktop Lite product :
Moblin v2 helps enable faster boot times which allows CS2C to deliver a new, exciting user experience to its customers.

Highly efficient User Interface. NeoShine Linux Desktop Lite provides an advanced graphical interface design framework, while taking into account the user's habits. This makes the UI simpler and the operation more efficient and dynamic, bringing a new, exciting experience to users. In addition, CS2C also customizes the applications to ensure they are well integrated with the new UI design framework, achieving the best visual effect.
Rich applications, NeoShine Linux Desktop Lite provides rich features around the two main themes – “Internet" and "entertainment": These rich applications include a Web browser, e-mail, IM, video, photos, music, games, e-book reader, web camera, etc. It can completely meet the customer’s needs for daily operations.
Moreover, NeoShine Office and many other customized solutions, such as Multi-media Center are fully integrated into the system, enhancing the ability of the NeoShine Linux Desktop Lite.
